Waves World launches Top 200 club
While the Top 100 Millionaires Club will still receive their airdrop of 3,500 WW per day, the next 100 on the list will also receive smaller daily bonuses going forward.
The Top 100 has been one of the most popular aspects of the Waves World ecosystem. Launched last year, the Club sees the top 100 holders of WW tokens receive daily airdrops of 3,500 new tokens per day. It’s been a great way to engage the community and incentivise our supporters. As we’ve discussed already, Top 100 members will continue to receive those airdrops.
Top 200 Whales Club
The Top 100 Club has been so successful that, after considering feedback from the community, we’ve decided to launch the Top 200 Whales Club. The second 100 members of the Waves World token rich list will also receive daily airdrops. At the time of writing, the threshold for inclusion in the Top 200 Club is around 200,000 WW, while the Top 100 Club requires over 2.5 million tokens.
In the first month, the second 100 top accounts will receive 1,000 WW per day. In the second month they will receive 750 WW per day. In the third and subsequent months, 500 WW per day will be distributed. We reserve the right to change this in the future, but modest adjustments designed to maintain value would only be made after a significant rise in the value of WW.
We’ll be funding the Top 200 Club from our reserves, from our own Top 100 holdings, buy backs using funds received from services delivered, node funds, and marketplace earnings.
